How did the Marion Chocolate Shop get started?
We bought The Marion Chocolate Shop as an existing business, formally known as THE chocolate SHOP. My wife, Katy, and I were looking for opportunities for me to work closer to home and be more invested in our community.
What are some things you are known for?
Fine handmade chocolates. Our most popular items are our Sicilian Sea Salt Caramels. We are working to bring fresh new and exciting flavors to add to our established line as well!
What do you like about the Marion/CR community?
Marion has "big city" options being so close to Cedar Rapids, but has a small town feel. We love how active and supportive the community is for families and small businesses.
